August 21, 2010 – Lily & Hope Play

Hope digs the ground around a well-rotten stump until Lily engages her in play.

August 15, 2010 – Lily and Hope Reconnect

Lily and Hope have been separated for 2 nights. Lily picks up Hope's scent and searches for her. Meanwhile, Hope has picked up Lily's fresh scent and frantically searches for her—even swimming along a shore in her search. They finally reunite and move away into a cedar swamp. Both seem relaxed. Lily blows and swats 3 times when Hope attempts to nurse. Hope is persistent and finally nurses while Lily is standing. Lily does not resist, but neither does she cooperate. After nursing, Hope falls sounds asleep and Lily grooms her.

August 2, 2010 – Lily & Hope Playing

A short clip of Lily and Hope playing. Hope's new coat has grown in thick -- making her collar appear tight. However, there is really plenty of room for growth.

July 13-19, 2010 – Lily & Hope

Recently reunited after 6 weeks apart, Lily and Hope forage together on a variety of wild foods. After an overnight separation, Hope tracks Lily down. Hope is growing in size and confidence.
