*All programs listed above, with the exception of the Photographer's Special will be included in your admission fee to the North American Bear Center.
*Photographer's Special will begin May 24th through Aug. 25th, may be canceled due to inclement weather. This program is limited to 10 people per group.

Additional Summer Program's 2013
If you choose to participate in any of the following programs you will be charged regular admission to the NABC as well as the cost of individual program you signed up for.
Photographer's Special: A one hour ‘behind- the- scenes’ walk with photo opportunities of our ambassador bears as a priority. Take advantage of this program and get those ‘close- up’ shots you can’t get from the observation deck or from our inside viewing area. You must be 18 years or older to participate in this program. This program is limited to 10 people each time.
Dates: Friday Mornings from 9:45am-11:00am May 24th-Aug. 25th
Cost: $40.00 per person
Camp Bear Paw: This program is geared towards bringing children between the ages of 8-11 for a back to nature ecology trip. Campers will experience bird watching, wildflower identification, den exploration, night hikes, tracking experiences, and extended knowledge of the American Black Bear. Each camp will end with a hotdog roast after the Friday session. This is limited to 12 children.
Dates: June 26th-28th and July 17th-18th from 10:00am-3:00pm
Cost: $25.00 per child per day
Behind the Scenes: Join the Bear Educator’s for a guided in-depth visit showing you where Ted, Honey, and Lucky live. See their dens, walk around the outside of their 2.2 acre enclosure, and see how their food is prepared before they are fed. This program is limited to 20 people each time.
Dates: June 19th, Aug 21st, Sept. 11th from 1:00pm-2:00pm
Cost: $10.00 per person
Family Night: Bring in the family and explore our building. Then join Bear Educator’s as they take you on a ‘behind the scenes’ look at the resident bears dens. Once the evening sets in you will take a night hike on our nature trail using night vision goggles to try and observe some of our nocturnal wildlife. Finish the night off with storytelling around the campfire.
Dates: July 24th and Aug. 3rd from 6:00pm-8:00pm
Cost: $25.00 per family (limit of 5 people)
Halloween Fun: This program is for kids who are 3-10 years old. Children will be led along our nature trail by bear mascots to find goodies hidden along the way. Cider and cookies will be offered as well.
Dates: Oct. 17th from 3:30pm-5:00pm
Cost: $3.00 per child
Halloween Scare "Knock knock, Who's There"? Come enjoy a night of fun walking along our ‘haunted’ nature trails after dark. This event is geared towards adults.
Dates: Oct. 25th-26th from 7:00pm-9:00pm
Cost: $7.00 per person
